These ramblings develop into a vision of a new society of refugees on an abandoned oil rig in the ocean, where some of these ideas are applied. The scheme is part of a proposed strategy of encouraging a global discourse fed by the results and experiences of many diverse societal design experiments, in places where natural or man-made disasters have destroyed older infrastructure - as opposed to efforts of designing and imposing one single global economic and governance model based on past unsuccessful blueprints.
